Training

At Intelenet, we hire for attitude and train for skills. All new recruits undergo an intensive training programme that encompasses soft skills training, Employee Growth Programs, Personality Development, Communication Skills etc as well as in-depth process training which ensures adaptation/alignment to the client and organizational requirements.

Intelenet has developed in-house customized training modules for culture sensitization, voice & accent training and client specific back office training. We also use customized training modules on finance & accounting, insurance and banking domains to equip employees with in-depth knowledge of the different verticals that they would eventually service.

In addition, On The Job Training, Continuous Training programs based on performance feedback from the Production and Quality Assurance teams is undertaken on a regular basis.
Reward & Recognition

Intelenet believes that both monetary rewards and non-monetary recognition is important to motivate outstanding performers.

The compensation offered to our employees is on par with the prevailing industry standards. In line with global practices, we firmly believe the individual partakes in the success of the company and therefore we have instituted a variable compensation plan, linked to both individual and company performance.

Intelenet has a detailed measurement system for measuring employee performance and facilitating development. Individual reviews are conducted every quarter to assess the performance of all employees across the organization.

In addition incentives such as white goods, gift vouchers, dinner coupons, special Training programmes for skill enhancement and employee development are offered depending on performance.

Intelenet has a formal as well as non-formal system of recognition for employees that constantly outperform client and organizational expectations. Non-formal recognition includes announcements and recognition among staff such as ‘Best Performer’ signboards above Advisor consoles and small ‘R & R’ events conducted regularly to motivate employees.

Formal events for organization wide recognition include I-Sparkle, a quarterly event and ‘The Intelenet Awards Night’ an annual mega event that honours the Stars of Intelenet in the presence of their families.

Intelenet has put in place best practices that are solely aimed at addressing talent management in the organization. We have implemented a program called I-versity, which is the Internal Promotion Program for employees, designed to incorporate a growth path for employees supported by performance and strategic inputs. An employee is clear on the growth opportunities available to him and also the requirements from his performance and the demand from the next growth level. Under the I-versity umbrella, the following programs are run as part of the first phase:
  • STEP - Strive Towards Excellence Program (For agent to team leader (TL) promotions)
  • LEAD - Leadership Excellence Accreditation & Development (For TL to team manager ™ promotions)
  • Promotion Policy for various grades and specialist roles
Approximately 80% to 90% of our promotions to middle management (e.g. team leaders and team managers) happen through Accelerated Career Growth Programme specially designed to help employees move to the next level.
Education@work

We also help people evolve into better professionals by not only training them on industry standard and client specific programs but also by encouraging them to get a business management degree.
